A K-12 curriculum for Teachers that meets the Sunshine State Standards.

Why 4-H in the Classroom?

  • Hands-on learning activities that follow the
    Do - Reflect - Apply model
  • September - May program
  • Work on a project for the Florida State Fair in February '06
  • Learn leadership skills from being an officer in the club
  • Completion certificates awarded; each class gets a 4-H sign to post
  • Club expenses: project books, 4-H pins and ribbons, materials for project
  • NO Registration Fee

Requirements

  • 1. Teacher must register as a leader.
  • 2. Register each student on a group enrollment sheet.
  • 3. Select your project area as a class. See a list of our project areas at www.florida4h.org 
  • 4. Submit a Yearly 4-H Club Plan - must meet a minimum of 6 times
  • 5. Complete a Service Project as a club/class
